Ryan Nadeau, DC, Chief of Staff and Assistant Professor
Ryan Nadeau, DC, is an assistant professor and chief of staff at the Rochester Health Center. A graduate of the New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Nadeau practiced privately in Maine before returning to work for his alma mater.
Dr. Nadeau treats patients of all ages and is certified in the Webster Technique which is designed to effectively treat pregnant patients. He also has extensive experience and a passion for treating the pediatric population. He is certified in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Technique, Activator Technique, and holds an Advanced Upper Extremity Adjusting Certification.
In addition to treating patients, he enjoys teaching chiropractic students how to effectively and efficiently transition into the clinical setting. Dr. Nadeau welcomes all new and existing patients to the Rochester Health Center.
Aizhong Li, PhD, LAc, Faculty Clinician
Aizhong Li, PhD, LAc, Dipl OM, was formally trained in China and has been engaged in the Traditional Chinese Medicine profession for over 30 years. Dr. Li brings extensive knowledge of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine to the Rochester Health Clinic.
Dr. Li enjoys helping patients of all ages in their illness recovery and well-being including, but not limited to, the following conditions: pain syndrome (head, facial, teeth, joints, neck, shoulder, elbow, hands, upper and lower back, pelvic, legs, heels, etc.), depression, insomnia, high stress, anxiety, disorders of the brain and heart, MS, premature aging, ADHD, allergy, asthma, bronchitis, gastritis, heart burn, ulcers, IBS, blurring of vision, infertility and other commonly seen internal and external conditions. She also offers treatment for smoking cessation and weight management.
As the clinical instructor at the Rochester Health Center, Dr. Li teaches NYCC interns in the holistic approaches to patient-centered care, ensuring Rochester Heatlh Clinic patients receive individualized, well-designed and correctly implemented care as well as preparing the students for successful careers as practitioners of traditional Chinese Medicine.
Joseph A. Miller, DC, Associate Professor
Dr. Miller's experiences include creating individualized nutrition plans and working with athletes ranging from high school to professionals. He also has an extensive background in corporate wellness including serving as the Director of Health and Wellness at the Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C.
He is a published article and book author, and has also engaged in research in the areas of nutrition and performance enhancement. Dr. Miller is committed to helping athletes apply nutritional techniques to optimize performance. One of his goals is to help everyone become healthier through the application of sound nutrition practices.
Larissa Severson, DC, Adjunct Faculty Clinician
Larissa Severson, DC, is a graduate of St. John Fisher College where she earned her bachelor's degree in Biology always knowing she was interested in the healthcare field. During that time, Dr. Severson suffered from chronic migraines and sought chiropractic care as treatment. Through this positive experience, she was inspired to pursue a career in chiropractic herself.
She is a graduate from the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, New York and is a member of the Phi Chi Omega Honor Society. She is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and has been certified in Webster Technique for pregnancy. In addition, she has completed continuing education in pediatric chiropractic care.
